Knitting on the tube

OK – so under the heading of good intentions, I’m finally working to finish the Debbie Bliss Tweed Biker Jacket .

I don’t know when I bought this wool and pattern – three years ago? My last blast on it got the arms connected to the body and back, with less than thrilling results, but after reading Glitz Knitz‘s experiences with this pattern, I realised it’s as simple as easing the sleeves.  Doh! And not a moment too soon – I’d actually visualised setting fire to the almost complete garment and moving on to another project.

About me

I started this blog to help me Get Things Done: sewing and knitting mostly.
But now I have a daughter! So I continue to daydream in enormous detail about what I'd like to make, but squeeze the 'doing' into precious naptimes and evenings.

Can I keep it up? Time will tell!
